Between classes and writing for Nanowrimo, it's difficult to think about updating my DA account, although I look around on here almost every day. Updating has been further complicated by the lack of AA batteries that my camera gobbles up for breakfast. However, I'm gearing up for the new year, where I will attempt to complete the 365 Project over on my Flickr account. With taking so many pictures, a few of them are bound to be good enough to post over here, right? I've been trying to post more pictures to my online journal, because I've realized that I enjoy reading someone's story much more when they include pictures. I'm also trying to convince myself that I do NOT need a new and more expensive camera. My little sony cybershot takes a good enough picture. A side benefit of taking more pictures is I find I'm taking more that are deviantart quality (in my opinion). Hence the more posts. I upload a lot at a time because I hate to wait...

I finally got off my butt and started taking pictures again. My camera seems to be behaving better (that is, the shutter actually closes when I turn it off and opens when I turn it on - one of the most important bits of a camera). I seem to have chosen a rather morbid subject matter, but I felt inspired. There is so much more variety in pet graves than people, so visiting a cemetery is always a unique experience. It is always interesting to see the ways people remember their pets.
